- 1 large russet potato
- 2 cups vegetable oil
- Salt & pepper
- Cut the potato into small wedges.
- Heat the oil in a deep fryer or a pot until it reaches 350°F.
- Fry the potatoes in batches until golden brown. Remove and drain on paper towels. Season with salt and pepper. Serve immediately.
